I’m not sure if I could love a book more than this. I was able to relate to this boom, on a whole new level. Scarlet, single, lonely, nerdy, and drunk wrote an anonymous letter, later to be published in a paper, about what she demands in a man. Asher a geek and CEO of a fortune 500 company, went from being bullied in high school, to pursuing a relationship, with his high school crush, Scarlett. She didn’t know who he was, but took a blind chance, to have her high standards satisfied. This is a must read book.

Could one day become a reread, I’m already wondering if I’ll have the same take on it with a second read.
4.5. I went back and for between four and five stars on this one. This story portrayed the high school experience or at least what we remember of it as adults in a very identifiable way. It also shows us that how we see ourselves in not normally the way others see us. And every experience is uniquely ours. I’ll be checking out the rest of Ms Michaels works. ;)

4.5 stars. I enjoyed this book. I like seeing a man unsure and vulnerable. Ashers POV sections were amazing. I liked that he had to work hard to get where he wanted to be, just like everyday people. My favorite character was Asher. He was a nerd, geek, and a regular man. He saw some thing he wanted and he went after it. This story made me feel inspired. I remember the trainer was inspired by Asher. The deep insight into a mans psyche was just everything. They have fears and insecurities just like we do. I recommend this book. I laughed my butt off. This story was really quirky and funny. I was so disappointed that I have to wait so long for book 2. I gave four stars because we went on 15 dates with these two. That’s too many. It did give the reader insight into bullied kids.
