This is the second book I've read by Nicole. I enjoyed the story between Karim and Celena. The flow of the story resembled part one in this series. I wish there was more of a conclusion with Karim and his dad. That part of the story didn't have a clear conclusion. I will read the next story as it pertains to a different set of characters.

Karim and Celena meet when both of them are pulled unwillingly into speed dating. There's more there, but Celena doesn't want to put herself out there again. Can Karim change her mind?
Okay, so I loved Karim from the start. He made his presence known without being pushy and he let Celena know where he was coming from. He demanded a clean slate from her, and was able to get it by showing and proving. Celena had her sneakers laced and I could only laugh; she was ready to run at any time to protect herself, but I was glad she let Karim breach her defenses. Their banter was great--Nic gets that right, every time. The family drama wasn't too over the top, although who would have thought his deadbeat daddy also birthed the lame that broke Celena's heart. I was glad they were able to get over that hump, and that their amazing chemistry was not in vain. Celena's nephew was adorable, and him bringing her into his world was kinda swoon worthy. I loved it.

Celena was ghosted by her ex of three years leaving her broken hearted and giving up on love. Karim just moved back home to open his own business and gets dragged into doing a friends a favor when he meets Celena and has to put in work to prove he is not that other dude.
This was such a cute drama free story. We met Celena in Adore You as Devorah’s co-worker and friend so I was very curious to find out why dude ghosted Celena. The way Celena and Karim met was cute, and I found it refreshing that they didn’t just jump in bed together. Karim took his time with Celena wanting to show her all men aren’t the same even through Celena was not here for it, sis was ready to give it up to Karim. I feel it though cause Karim was my type of guy, he was straight to the point, smooth but not in a player type of way, aggressive but not controlling, and persistent. Sis said he look like Ralph Angel, he is going in the book bae category for sure.
I liked that there was no drama when they found out about their mutual connection. When the connection clicked for me I envisioned the response would be the dramatic response that would cause an issue in their relationship but that is not what we got and I really enjoyed that. It was a very mature response. Just like in Adore You I enjoyed the ladies friendship and how they kept it real with each other. PJ was a whole mess with his little crush, he had me cracking up talking about his little feelings. I am definitely ready for the next book in this series I want to see what Patricia attitude is all about.
I am really enjoying reading through Nicole Falls catalog sis is a great writer and I haven’t been disappointed yet.

Once again Nicole Falls has done it - I absolutely loved this book! Celena deserved every ounce of love Karin poured into her.

Awesomeness
Really enjoyed this story. Outstanding meet-cute. Great pace. PJ was hilarious. Even the twist was good. This couple was just adorable.

Karim and Celena
Their connection was instant. Celena was definitely hesitant to take it there because of that fool Jacob. Karim was a good guy who wasn't afraid to express how he felt about her. The twist in the story was unexpected and I was looking for Celena to run, but she got it together. PJ and his crush was hilarious, his man talk with karim was funny.
