What an awesome story. The characters were very well done (I enjoyed Hyein's adventure through morality a lot). I'm a bit salty that Hyuk wasn't shown at the end - what is this Hyuk/Hyun discrimination?
Spoiler
I was a bit surprised by how many people died. The end felt a bit useless - if you were going to let Hyun live either way, why even bother with the large boss monster? Hyuk deserved to respawn too :((Graphic: Death, Death of parent, Child death, Violence, Suicidal thoughts, Blood, Body horror, and Bullying
Moderate: Toxic relationship and Car accident
Minor: Animal death, Suicide, Sexual assault, Self harm, Physical abuse, Alcohol, Gun violence, and Gaslighting
Spoiler
There's a lot of death (it's one of the story's main focuses. It's graphic and happens all the time. The main character is suicidal for the majority of the story, contemplates suicide on multiple occasions. There's one mention of mc's self harm. Mc also had been extensively bullied in the past, leaving him as a changed person. His family were a bunch of dicks about it, too. There's a side character pair of characters who are in a very toxic relationship. The husband abuses his wife physically and psychologically. She is gaslit by another character into trying to kill him. There's a brief scene of attempted rape by a character who is said to have done that in the past also. A lady-turned-monster eats her cat off camera. There's a pair of children whose father dies right before their eyes. Their mother is in another city so they are completely alone and helpless. A gun is waved about for about 50 chapters. Characters keep threatening (and sometimes shooting) each other with it. Overall, the characters sacrifice their lives very, very easily. (Too easily and too frequently.) There's a theme of not having enough food and water.
