So, apparently I am actually reading this whole series now. The characters are kind of fun and quirky and the relationship between Sean and Avery when they are friends is fun. Avery's endless hysteria is getting a little tired but whatev. The premise of Avery's descent into complete aloneness in the world is weird....I get that her parents died but absolutely no other family or family friends or parents business associates or teachers with whom she had a relationship or anything is just odd....as if the whole prostitution thing...just odd but nevermind.

Avery's bipolar'ish behavior is maddening. She's so self-centered and immature. She just doesn't seem capable of any type of adult relationship. The amount of inner dialog (Avery) within this particular book is more than usual.

OMG, aaaaaaaargh. F*vk and hell. I wish I could give only one star. Oh, how I wish. The ending just broke my heart. Too much. It makes me sick and I cannot even imagine how Avery must have felt. I'm disgusted.
Yet, I give five stars. Why. Cos I love the story. Even if it breaks my heart over and over again. Better than feeling nothing, right?

So far this is the best of the five books of the series! What a cliffhanger!

She's such a fucking idiot. I don't like the structure of the books either, short choppy sentances suck.
