This felt like a good ending to the series. glad that some questions were answered and that the ending did not come with out some hardships. However still a really goodread.

It did wrap up nicely
After waiting 5 books for her to get her memories back it was rather underwhelming

Great conclusion to the series, with all the loose ends tied up. Ian, James, and Addie all found what they were looking for and what they needed.

Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant!

The Fifth Essence is the fantastic conclusion to the Final Formula series! This latest installment opens up with us still wondering where George disappeared to from the previous book and a strange case of infectious zombies popping up around town. Following right behind this, New Magic disappears, James disappears and all of sudden the zombie epidemic has exploded! Because the elements no longer have magic, they end up having to adapt to being regular humans amidst Neil and his ultimate agenda. Tensions run high as everyone is working together to solve the multitude of problems stacking one on top of the other. Addie's development from the beginning, and now, to the end makes her one of most memorable, unique heroines you'll ever come across.

I was completely riveted from page one. This story is not predictable. Just when you think you know what's going to happen, Andre completely surprises you. Even in this last installment we are getting good history on our characters intermixed into her wrapping up their lines. I cheered, laughed, cried sad tears and cried happy tears. If you haven't checked out this series yet, I highly recommend that you do. It's very rare for me to read a book about alchemy and actually like it so trust me when I say, this series is gold!
