Nightshift was a story of intoxicating infatuation and obsession, an exploration of sexuality and queerness, and an addictive read.
I was always dying to carry on when I’d finished and loved the experience of listening to it. It wasn’t really what I was expecting at first but it was so much better than that, and it really deserves the highest of praise.
There are some very emotional and challenging elements to the book from start to finish, as we explore the characters and learn more about their experiences and interactions. The ending was unexpected but it really finished the story off perfectly and in a very believable, finite way.
I really do think that Nightshift will stay with me for a very long time and would highly recommend it. 5 stars.

Such a boring book for such edgy themes. I wanted it to be darker, sexier, maybe more unhinged?? But it was dull and the writing was lackluster. I simply didn’t care. Other books do the disaffected 20-something thing much better, this was not worth it.
