I read this book in about a day. It was easily readable and the perfect stay-cation reading. There was some misogyny/sexism/ derogatory terms that definitely wouldn’t be acceptable in 2023, but overall this was a juicy, fun read. I kinda saw the ending coming, but it still made me tear up at the end.

This was an okay read. Loved it for the humor and the chemistry between Jenna and Eric. I’m glad I read Seven Days In June before this though, because I was able to appreciate how much she has grown from the writer she was when she wrote this.

I think this is the second contemporary novel I picked up since I started reading and it was so good. l actually started reading for fun and it is now how I greatly spend my time. I know they are making a movie on this book and L absolutely cannot wait to watch it. The author kept it real the whole time and it was a good age-gap book.
