I stopped reading 15% in because the writing was so bad. The subject is interesting, but the plot was not compelling enough to overcome the terrible writing.

This might be the best book I have ever read. I loved it so much.

I listened to the audiobook.

Wow... the nostalgia of this book

Another period of time I genuinely didn't know much about and I'm gonna have to go do a lot more reading on. Loved this story so much. Sepetys does no wrong

I cannot believe how much I learned from this book. Sepetys does an outstanding job of creating characters I feel passionately for within a few chapters, and delving into history's hidden darkness and bringing it out into the light!

Slow, boring, focusing on romance rather than history or other interesting characters. Couldn't be bothered to carry on.
