+ unreliable narrator
+ the woman being murdered by her husband hurt and did feel unnecessary to the story, but it was a very realistic ending to her story (there are still to many women murdered by their (ex-)husbands out there, and she drew attention to it)

- the plotline with the spa made no sense within this book? like, it had no value for the overall story
- weaponizing of gay love (the setup was kind of realist, yes, but the representation was very one-sided, and had a bad taste for me personally)
- overall, it didn't feel like those plotlines, which were a lot, weren't very good connected

This is probably my least favorite book of this series so far. There are just too many details and honestly, people that I don’t care for. For example, Mellberg absolutely HAS to go. (I haven’t read the later books of this series but I sincerely wish and hope that he will be gone soon.)
Läckberg still manages to surprise me and I love her for that. I would still pick up her next book of this series and I hope it won’t disappoint me.
