When I first started this book I was rating this a 2/3 But keep reading, it gets better!
I think I didn’t enjoy the amateur erotica , I felt like it was a bit much. But in retrospect I think that was the point - foreshadowing

This book will sink you in!

It does have topics of abuse and homelessness so if that triggers you read with caution

I truly enjoyed this read and I do recommend it!

Just wow. I devoured this book. I couldn't put it down. I loved the quote about there not being bad people. That good people do bad things sometimes. I think I'm going to be thinking about this one all night.

It was good. The author did a great job of describing every thought that goes through a victims mind! I wouldnt give it a 5 because it’s not something I would read again and again. Not in my top 5.

I've got to be honest. This was not it. I over all liked the story arch, and idea of the plot but these characters were so forced and thin and not developed. I hated Lily, she's a fucking idiot. I hated Rile. Like from the GET. LOTS of plot holes. Rile just never dipicted in therapy but he's been in therapy his whole life? Never going into annnny of his shooting his brother? Tbh give me a book of Rile's sister and her husband, they were the best part of the whole story. This was not Hoover's best. I'm so surprised by how over hyped this is.
