Oh my goodness! I have so much to say about this book! First of all, I loved this book. Without a doubt, it made the cut for my favourite books list. Ever since the first chapter, I have been hooked. I immediatly got sucked into the world that [a:Lauren Oliver|2936493|Lauren Oliver|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1291156327p2/2936493.jpg] created. The world she made was very well described. Although, I would've wanted to know about the rest of the world, Maine was well described. Even though I haven't ever been to Maine, after reading this book I feel like I used to live there. I found myself constantly thinking about the world, story, and characters. When you read a book, and you think of it all the time, and you analyze little details, and make connections about the story, you know that it is a very good book. I loved Alex the minute he got described. I loved him! And the ending, totally brought me to tears. I cried for over an hour. I don't even know if I want to read the next book right now. Which I bought automatically after finishing the book. The concept and idea of this book is so amazing! I never would've thought of this idea. It scares me to think that this happening in the future is real. Also, the prisons (crypts) are so scary. I was cringing when I was reading that part. The descriptions are so vivid, that I feel like i'm actually in the Crypts, and that if I do something bad, i'll have to go there. Well, I want to read the next book, but no right now. I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone! (maybe above 12 years old though) :) Congrats to Lauren Oliver for writting such an amazing book!

I really liked this one. I wished the ending could have been different, but it felt like the right ending.

This was great until about 3/4 of the way through. I hit a wall there, and for some reason it lost some of its magic for me. In the end though, its certainly an interesting read and the author is amazing at keying in to feelings you never thought someone could express in writing. Not my favorite, but entertaining.

I AM GIVING THIS A REALLY GENEROUS 2.5 STARS.

Okay, listen up, I might get some hate going into this review, but I legit did not like this book at all.

Going into this book I expected great things! But I was dissapointed.

First off, I hate the main character. (Legit, half the book is "Omigosh I can't fall in love" "Omigosh I'm falling in love" and I HATE that, the Main character in my head is an annoying school girl)

Second off, I hate the love interest.

Third off, half of this dang book is plain out boring!

I usually NEVER give 2 star reviews because I always dismiss problems, but this book was so boring in the middle and towards the end. I'm going to be honest with you, the last 50 pages or so, I started paraphrasing each page so I could finish it and get the book on my Reading Challenge list.

The only character/thing I liked about this book was the best friend of the main character, the rebel chick who is actually kind of B.A. she is the only reason why this review is not getting a one star!

I still have hope for Lauren Oliver though! I really hope to enjoy Panic by her.
