Aqui conhecemos, Lila e Teddy que no início não se entendem lá muito bem, mas à medida que se vão conhecendo descobrem que têm muita coisa em comum, incluindo os seus segredos. Ambos têm segredos que não querem ver revelados às suas famílias e isso acaba por os unir. Temos aqui um enemies to friends to lovers e eu adorei!

This book was the perfect read for me at this moment. I absolutely loved it. I love how this story managed to be a light read that didn't shy away from the spotlight the holidays can put on difficult family stuff.

really really enjoyed this one! lila and teddy were so cute together and i'm so glad they didn't go down that hole that rivals to lovers couples go to where they sabotage each other just to get the job.
as an ate, i also loved lila's relationship with irene. it was so realistic to me and i can't help but get teary-eyed at the part towards the end where
overall, i really appreciate that this book is so unapologetically filipino. you don't see much of that in other fil-am books.

If you want to read a cosy, cute Christmas book, this one is perfect. Read it all in one sitting and loved it. 3.5 stars as it’s not my ideal type of book but still was worth the read!!
