Why was this so cute???? I love how Angelo just saw Tori and his brain went ‘hmm ima marry that girl’

I loved their relationship and how they came to be. It was an insta love which obviously not very realistic but I felt good while reading it, hence the rating. There’s not a whole lot of plot here but I still enjoyed it. I loved how Angelo got the you touch her I kill you vibes going on and I was very here for it.

The last part with Angelo’s uncle and aunt and the whole drama just came out of nowhere and I was genuinely surprised. I just didn’t buy it, it felt very orchestrated. But other than, it was a great read.

Omg! New world, New mafia men, and what a way to start this standalone series. Tori meets Angelo by being in the wrong place and at the wrong time. When Aneglo sees Tori he is interested in her. This book was amazing as we went through their relationship. The ups and downs and omg Angelo was amazing to Tori and I was happy to see her grow into her self.

This book has a 4.02 ⭐️ rating? You’ve got to be kidding me.

This felt like it was written by a 12 years old. It was so childish, so unrealistic(Which I understand, this is fictional. But this ain’t a fantasy romance, come on now? I mean contemporary mafia romance should at least be based on some common senses right? Or, or logics?), so…EHHHHHH. I mean ye, sure, it wasn’t boring but what the hell? Whats with angelo’s obsession with tori’s innocence? Whats with this madly in love in the duration of literally one month? WHAT? And the drama? WHAT??? WHAT???? Omg how did I even manage to finish this book, I have no idea.

A sweet couple

This was a fairly light-hearted mafia book. While it had dark elements, it was really a story about Angelo seeing Vittoria for the first time and wanting to claim her innocence. Vittoria is just trying to bide time until she can claim her inheritance and leave for a picket white fence. HEA.

A sweet couple in the end with an OTT possessive MMC and an innocent FMC.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good audio.

And Michelle Heard knocks it out of the park again! Another fantastic Mafia romance, a little different but the same romance, emotion, and adventure she always gifts us with. This time the violence is more gritty, but the story is no less romantic and enchanting.

Vittoria Romano, twenty-three, lost her father and step-mother five years ago and has been subjected to her stepbrother’s abuse all these years. He took her father’s place in the Mafia and thinks he’s a big shot. Couldn’t have been more wrong! She chances into Angelo Rizzo while he’s doing gruesome Mafia business and he notices her gawking. He comes to check her out, she shakes in abject fear. Rizzo, who is one of the five heads of the Mafia in New York, fell to the enchantment of her beauty and innocence, and so he starts machinating.

I loved how he had to take romance counseling from his bodyguards in order to woo Vittoria, loved how Big Ricky and Tiny were initially scary and ended up like family to Vittoria, asking for her cooking treats like little puppies. She was initially scared stupid but she has an inner core of strength that helped her face her situation, deal with a dangerous Mafia don and still negotiate fidelity and children in exchange for protection. And then proceeded to make him cherish her like the treasure she is!

Beautifully romantic, some funny tidbits, a great couple with yummy steamy moments, and enough action to keep me in suspense. Another winner!

A morally grey husband who would kill for you and also help to invest? Yes please! This is such a cute and fast paced story and it kept me turning pages! Readers be cautious though because spicy and abuse of women is talked about in this book.

I don't care what people say, I loved it. Yeah some things could've been better but it was exactly what I needed right now.

No tenía demasiado drama para ser un libro de mafia, pero lo sentí corto, además está cute que se diera cuenta que si la ama, no apoyo que la obligará, pero luego hay amor

Tori and Angelo were really cute but the real stars were Big Ricky and Tiny
