It’s great to see the slow burn of this plot developing and feeling Miyo slowly grow. However I do feel the world building is quite lacking - like why is spirit sight so important? Why is it just certain circles where that matters?

These two are growing closer and I'm all for it, I love their romance so much!

Kaya is such a pick-me-girl! So cruel and evil, I really hope she gets some character development and maybe get to the point of apologizing for all the bad she has done.
I bet she is going to have a crush on Kiyoka, but he'll have only eyes for Miyo and that will light her rage.


Miyo's father is the worst.

OMG final panels!! That man is furious!!
Burn it all, save Miyo!!

I'm certain that Miyo such a powerful gift from the Usubas, that once it awakens, she won't need any protection.
