It was okay. A bit slow for me and a lot of it seemed a bit far fetched. Like I'm supposed to believe that they live in a big metro, big enough to have a tube station, yet the same half-dozen characters continually run into each other at all hours? Meh.

Lisa Jewell has always been an odd writer. I never know what genre to place her books in. The storylines always seem to have me say wth did I read? Confused if I like it or not. However, I keep listening to her audiobooks. So there’s that. I haven’t listened or read all of her books yet. So far, this novel seems to be the tamest when it comes to trauma and emotional relationships. There is sexual content.

A good book. Some characters are hard to like as people at first. Not because they are badly written, no the characters are very well written, I mean that they have realistic flaws. I did like the mystery and the changing of points of view. It is a good book and hard to put down.
