Angsty filled with a pair of very swoonworthy twin brothers, this super steamy friends to lovers love triangle is the newest addition to the Circle B Ranch series. It’s a complex romance with plenty of drama, and I couldn’t get enough of it.

Kane and Hadleigh have been best friends since forever. Knox, Kane’s twin brother, on the other hand, has been friends (acquaintances?) with Hadleigh, but their friendship is nowhere near as close as her and Kane’s. During the annual bachelor auction, Knox goes first, and Hadleigh wins a date with him. She was supposed to also win Kane, but another woman does instead when she outbids Hadleigh. Knox and Hadleigh eventually go out on their date, and sparks fly. It wasn’t really expected by either of them, but the pull between them is undeniable. However, when Kane finds out that his brother and best friend had more of a good time than he bargained for, he sets out to stake his claim and confess his true feelings of love to her. Thus, a love triangle forms when Hadleigh is confronted by two brothers that she was always just friends with and now each of them want more with her. Throughout much of the book, the reader is left to wonder which brother will prevail, and we see both Knox and Kane making quite the effort to gain Hadleigh’s love.

I don’t have much experience with books with love triangles, but I think this one is well done. I really got the sense that this was a difficult decision by Hadleigh, and Kane and Knox definitely didn’t make it easy for her to choose. Having said that, she was incredibly indecisive up until a certain point in the book (a VERY spicy moment), and I did wonder why she couldn’t figure it out before then. However, I love both Kane and Knox, and while reading this book I wasn’t sure who I wanted her to fall in love with more, so I guess I understand her trouble deciding. Both main male characters are very compelling, and I found myself rooting for both of them at different times.

Something I absolutely love about this book and this series is that while the main focus of the story is on Hadleigh, Kane, and Knox, we get glimpses of the rest of the family. If you’ve read any of the other books, you’ll appreciate seeing all of the secondary characters, many of which have already had their stories told. Reading the rest of the series or even the Bishop Brothers series (the previous generation of Bishops) is not necessary, but I do recommend you read them just because they’re pretty great. These other characters add another level of intricacy to the story, and without them I feel like there’d be something missing. I love this world that Kennedy Fox has created, and because of these authors I’m all about cowboy romances now. Claiming the Cowboy reinforces that.

This super spicy and drama-filled romance is emotional and well written. These characters and the tricky situation they find themselves in make for a must read, and I’m anxiously awaiting the next book in this series.

Well, first off all, let me just warn you this is a very hateful review. Second, this book is an abomination. Third, Kane, you dodged a bullet.

Things I didn’t like about this book
1) Kiera and Jackson. They were the worst characters and couple from the Bishop Brothers series, and I see they’re also the worst parents too!
2) Hadleigh. If I actually say what I think about her, I’d be called a misogynist so let me just say I’m glad she ended up with Knox cause Kane deserves soooo much better than… whatever she is. I’m happy he gets with the prettier sister, at least!
3) Knox. Awful human being and even worse brother. He deserves Hadleigh cause she’s as nasty as him. He’s a manwhore and that’s all he’s worth lol
4) The story. I think they stole it from a wattpad harry styles fanfiction from 2014.
5) Knox and Kane and Hadleigh had a threesome. Knox and Kane are twin brothers.
6) They have children.

Things I did like about the book:
1) When Kane punched Knox and insulted him
2) The Ivy and Kane set up
3) When it ended

I don’t know how I managed to not DNF it, must be because I’m mentally ill. If you love yourself, don’t read this book.

One of the worst book I’ve EVER read.

Wasn’t my favorite. I feel like mesh well as a couple. I think from -20 to 60 way to quick.

Wow all the warnings about how hot this book was were definitely not an understatement. This was a love triangle that was done so beautifully, there was just enough angst but not too much that made it hard to decide. I think most readers knew who they wanted to be with Hadleigh. And that thr33some scene? That was a new level of steam that I didn’t know was missing from my life. For anyone who might be unsure about a love triangle, threesome between brothers: don’t worry. That moment changed so much between the three of them and after that everyone knew where they were supposed to be.

Hadleigh & Knox are HOT! This book starts as a love triangle, which I’ll admit, I’m usually not a huge fan of. But Kennedy Fox knows how to write a story & this one was EVERYTHING! Knox & Kane are twins; Kane has been in love with Hadleigh for years while Knox is the ultimate playboy. Hadleigh has feelings for Knox but explores her attraction to Kane, as well. One passionate night between the three of them makes things perfectly clear: Knox is who Hadleigh wants & Hadleigh is who Knox needs. Kane comes to this conclusion & bows out gracefully. From there, Hads & Knox build their relationship & it’s so much more than I expected. I love how this entire story was written & I can’t wait to read how Kane finds love!!

This dynamic duo has done it again! I typically don’t like books with love triangles, but I couldn’t put this book down. With all the teasers we got about Knox, Kane, and Hadleigh I couldn’t wait to read this book and it did not disappoint.

The angst and all the heat and steam it took me on a ride and I didn’t want to get off. “Claiming the Cowboy” is one of the dynamic duo’s spiciest and steamiest book to date. I’m excited to see what else they are going to write next.

The chemistry and steam was off the charts. This is my favorite Kennedy Fox book to date.

This book is a must read and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

*I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
