Still no answers or clues this far in and I'm bored. Don't want to continue to read something that bores me so giving in.

Not bad, the only thing I thought was a shame was that she found out so fast about herself and the men :(
It has potential, so onwards to the next part!

Overall Series Review: This was another fun paranormal RH romance series. I liked Morgan as a character, especially her growth across the books, and as always, the dudes were hot.

With any paranormal romance, there has to be a bit of suspension of disbelief on how the story comes together and why the protagonist jumps in.

This is a mythology that I have a passing familiarity with, sort of enough to understand how the story works, but not enough to worry if it wasn’t exact. It was also lovely to read about the Morrigan without the rampant misogyny of the Iron Druid novels, which was the last time I had seen her as a character.

I will say that this series, especially the early books, feels closer to YA, but that may have a bit to do with how short the books are.

I was really looking for a series to just dive into, where I could just move from book to book and not have to wait for a release. I got this entire 6 book series all together in one book so that worked for me. Reading a new, unknown, author is always a reach for me. This book, nor the series, did not disappoint.

An easy read, we are following the story of a college-age Morgan and her life.

Pretty good story

Pretty good read. A little slow but still manages to keep you interested. I like the FMC so far but I feel like I don’t know her that well yet. Hopefully we get more in book two. On to book let’s see where this story leads us.

I've been drawn to RH lately, and this is just another on the list. I love the creative aspect of each character, even though you don't really see it in one of the men. I didn't like that the conflict and danger are in the background; I kept waiting for the bad guy to make an appearance outside of her memories/story. And I wanted to see more of the sexual tension.

2.5 stars...

The mythology plot was fine...

But the weird transition or rather no transition at all, really ruined the pace of the story. She went from not having her memory to suddenly know pretty much everything.....it just kind of happened.

***SPOILERS***
Morgan's parents died when she was 16 from a mystery "super-virus" that basically nobody knew anything about. She gets accepted into grad school and wins a grant for housing based on her essay. Her essay follow Maverick a girl who grows up in the company of 5 ravens that she communicates with. According to her psychologist, these "fairytales" are a result of her trauma over her parents death. She also has memory loss. When she arrives at her grad school house, she meets 5 men who are super respectful and caring about her. It turns out these men are to keep her (the reincarnation of the Morrigan) on the "good side." They do this by helping balance her negative emotions through intimate acts.

The guys all have unique positions within the harem. Dylan is the historian. Sam can see the future with his photography. Bunny is a visual artist, painter. Clinton is a musician. And Damien is a metal worker. Each of their gifts are special in some supernatural way. This was a very short read and I actually really liked that! It didn't drag on and on. Will be reading the next.
