Was not was I was expected, and while I am intrigued by aspects, some of the male main character's comments give very edgelord incel vibes. I think there is room for him to grow and change his opinions, so we'll see if I continue.

A boy and a girl and tons of conversations… and love?

This one was one of my many (well not so many now) Kodansha-First-Volume-Free-Haul. I didn’t know it when I got it, but now I do, it is by Robico! I just love their Little Monster series and I am excited to find a new series!

In this one a boy and a girl meet at a train station after school. That doesn’t sound so strange, but these two have a lot of conversations. Discussions at times. About everything under the sun. From games to being a boy/girl to romance and relationships to games and more. At times they get quite heated, but I loved seeing both of them bring over their points. Be clear about things. Yes, I do agree with other reviewers that the discussions, and especially Azuma-kun views on things, were quite sexist/rude. He has some points that just had me shaking my head and wondering if he wasn’t a 15-16 year old boy but rather an old grumpy man who lived in ages that things were different.

However, I did look forward to the conversations, to see what they would chat about now. Plus, I also loved seeing them get closer. Yep, closer. This manga isn’t just about conversations and discussions and rants, but also about Aizawa’s feelings towards Azuma. I loved that she was able to confess early on… and then kind of get turned off by the fact he had hairy legs. Oh girl… But these two, in their conversations and all that, get closer and while I didn’t always see the attraction I found myself rooting for this duo.

But… it didn’t help that the way Azuma looked was that of Watanuki from xxxHolic. Some of his mannerisms and how he acted in emotion was also at points the same. I just found myself distracted quite a few times because of this.

I loved that while the train station is the biggest focus, we also get to see the characters in school. Plus, we also got some little bits here and there from the POV of Azuma.

And Robico’s art is still PERFECT. I love their style so so much~

All in all, this was quite a fun read and I am quite curious about what is next. Will these two start dating? What conversations/discussions are next? How is Caffeine doing?

Personally, I found Shiro to be very relatable - empathy and reading between the lines has always been something I've struggled with. However, Nozomi was a nice contrast to his very straight-forward thinking. She was emotional but in a very... human way. It seemed believable. I honestly liked them both.
All in all a very lighthearted, humorous story.
