I've enjoyed Rosenberg's indie comics, but the ones that pay the bill are less satisfying, even if the art is largely much better, as it is in this volume.
The story is rather boring and often incomprehensible, and it doesn't even work as a send up of the various problems with time travel stories. There seems to be an X Man whose appearance was stolen from Heavy Metal magazine from the 70s.
So what.

Worst Madrox story ever. If you don't know how to handle a time traveling story, please, do not even try.
I gave 2 stars for artwork.

This was quite good in that it establishing that and that's always fun.
But it also had quite an element of a snake eating its own tail with that time travel story and that made it a little meh for me.

What do you get when you mix an insane amount of dupes and time travel? You get an incredibly bonkers story that plays out like a love letter to convoluted time travel stories. This was a lot more campy than I expected, but after I settled in, I had a lot of fun. Pretty damn hilarious and self-aware, almost reads like a Deadpool comic, but with an army of Jamie Madroxes instead. If you just wanted more noir Jamie ala X-Factor, this is not it. Personally I welcome the change in tone. If you're looking for Jamie Prime, you won't find him here. This reads almost like a what if, given that most of the story occurs in alternate futures. If you love time travel stories, then this is essentially fanservice and I couldn't recommend it enough. Initially the art turned me off, but the more I read the more I realized how well suited Andy MacDonald's art is for this type of book. It seems a lot of people found this book confusing, but every single thing is explained by the last issue. It really does all make sense in the end.
9/10, with the caveat that it's absolutely not for everybody.

A funny, wild ride through time starring some cool X-Men and Marvel characters. It was a bit heavy on the blood splatters and gore for me at times. This was a quick and entertaining read. Note- the title is kinda deceiving cause I would say “Some of it makes sense in the end”

C'est joli, il y a pas mal d'idées, c'est cool de voir revenir Jamie Madrox, mais que c'est brouillon et bordélique ! Une histoire de voyage dans le temps potentiellement très cool mais où l'on pige la moitié des trucs :-/

Really attempts to tell a grounding story about one of the most annoying mutants, Jamie Madrox, the Multiple Man. This mind-boggling tale whips backward and forward through time, is pointlessly bloody & violent, and ridiculously remixes the duplicates of the title character with ferocity. Hurts in a good way.
