BIG TRIGGER WARNING FOR PET DEATHS!

General good advice but nothing ground breaking. The author felt judgy and condescending at times.

This was a very sweet and pragmatic book. There were even a few times when I literally laughed out loud. It was short, easy to read, and generally easy to like. I loved that an octogenarian wrote this book with the intention of helping others help others. My only issue with it is that I know myself very well and know that the tips she makes are wasted on me. I am far too sentimental to give away anything or throw anything out with that kind of economy. Even when it might take her a few years, it would probably take me a few decades. But for the Type A personality, this book would probably feed your soul.

Fast, mainly common sense, but with a lovely attitude and humor! I enjoyed many a moment with this book.

This was a cute little book. There were helpful thoughts in it about organizing and I enjoyed a new perspective on decluttering in the face of everyone's eventual death. It was a bit specific to the author and I almost wish it had been more of a memoir about her life with occasional tips thrown in than a self-help style organizing book. The author has led a very interesting and full life. The chapter about pets was not my favorite, so skip if you are sensitive to hard decisions about animals. Great book to pick up when you want a short read and a bit of cleaning inspiration from a new perspective.

Easy, informative non fiction read about decluttering. Even though the target audience is older folks wanting to get rid of things in a meaningful way toward the end of life, it has some good strategies and suggestions for anyone wanting to live more organized. There are also stories about the authors own life woven in that I found endearing.

Like having a chat with a grandmother over cookies and hot tea. Some advice and wisdom. Some memories, stories, reminisces. and occasional moments where she shocks you with candid discussion of delicate topics.  I found the television show more useful.   but I did enjoy this little book.
