When you readily admit that you euthanized a dog who still had plenty of life to live because you're moving out of the country, you automatically lose at least a couple of stars from me. Additionally, this book can best be summed up with one simple sentence: get rid of the shit in your house before you die so your kids or other relatives don't have to. It's really that simple. This book has no special tips or tricks or anything like that. I'm honestly confused how this is a best-seller.

BIG TRIGGER WARNING FOR PET DEATHS!

General good advice but nothing ground breaking. The author felt judgy and condescending at times.

I loved the idea of Swedish Death Cleaning as soon as I heard term! Thought I’d finally see what all the fuss was about and actually read the book. The title by far the best part; only reason giving 2 stars. Expected something similar to Marie Condo and just not sure what I got. No practical tips. Lot of meandering. If animal cruelty is a trigger for you, definitely skip. Was not expecting her decision to declutter the dog when became inconvenience.
