So according to the blurb this had some of my favourite tropes - a dominant boss, a submissive new employee, a forbidden secret office romance - it's like this was written specially for me! ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿ˜

HOWEVER reading this was as much fun as watching paint dry. IT WAS BLAND AF. ๐Ÿ˜ช The characters lacked the steamy chemistry that the blurb promised and I failed to connect with either one of the MCs. Read as much as I could before having to stop due to sheer boredom. ๐Ÿ˜”

I really enjoyed this. This was a very quick read and I enjoy it for what it was. I thought it was really cute and I liked the elements of dominance and submission while at the same time, it was not a BDSM relationship. Nothing groundbreaking, but a nice HEA never hurt nobody!

Dom, a story of two souls looking for their own way into each otherั“??s arms.

Great story, well rounded characters that like in real life are flawed by life and by their own humanity.

Jason Collins, is my go to author for romantic escapism into stories of wonder and romance!

Five star start, but it fizzled out from there. The tension between the two was HAWT and then, the main thrust of the story, the torrid night between a dominant stranger and college sub was... fade to black.
major sad face.

The rest of the book was ok, but it never reached the anticipation of that first bar scene.
