Just too sad for me, I'm afraid. Maybe it’s because I’m so used to the Disney version, but I found Peter less charming and a bit of a brat. Either way, I liked the more positive note the movie ended on. I did however enjoy the unusual narration style.

A fae stalks several generations of a family, kidnapping their children from their beds at night and taking them to Neverland.

This really reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. Overall, it was nice to go on an adventure with the Lost Boys and visit Neverland, but at times I was a little confused.

The language used to refer to indigenous people is very in keeping with what was acceptable at the time of the book being wrote (in terms of general racism and racial slurs) and so would be deemed as offensive today which may influence some people as to whether or not they want to pick this up.
