Noel and Roman are opening a resort together over Christmas. Roman is determined to win Noel over, but she still harbors anger towards him from years ago.

I was really confused for much of this book. I feel like a lot of backstory was missing and this felt incomplete as a novella. I think this would have worked better as a full-length novel. How did they get into business together? How did he become a billionaire? What happened between Noel and her fiance? There are just too many unanswered questions.

It took too long to explain what their business was and what their relationship was. So I was grasping at straws trying to figure out what was going on.
Noel and Roman were friends as teenagers and he was secretly in love with her, but she was dating his brother. 5 years ago, Roman confessed his feelings for Noel, but she was a week away from her wedding to his brother, so he left. Now he is back trying to bulldoze his way back into her life and into her heart.

I didn't particularly like Roman or Noel. Both characters were underdeveloped and pretty surface level. There was so much miscommunication and disrespect of boundaries. Noel says no, yet Roman takes it as a yes.

I like that we got a glimpse into Noah and Ari's future (say you swear). Noel and Roman are opening a resort that lets you relive memories or special moments. This was inspired by Noah and Ari's life story. It is a cute idea.

▪️Christmas novella
▪️Second chance
▪️Spice rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

I did enjoy this novella. I thought the story was great, the characters were perfect MCs and the spice was incredible.
However, I do feel like this could have been a full length novel with us seeing the whole background story to the MCs relationship. I think I would’ve rated it higher if that were the case.

My expectations were definitely a little higher on this one. While reading it, I felt like I was missing a whole lot of backstory. I loved getting a glimpse into Noah and Arianna's future together but other than that, I definitely felt a little lost while reading. A cute little novella but I think a deeper story is needed.

I read this because it was based off Noah and Ari’s book. I thought it was good.. I liked the premise of this book and thought it was a great idea. If this place existed in real life.. I’d go for sure.

If you want a little more of Noah and Ari.. definitely read.
