What a life, Colton had. And yet managed to get out of the woods and heal himself.
I really appreciate the total honesty and rawness with which he told the most brutal events of his past, at points it was hard to read mainly because it resonated too much with my own story.
I can’t help but find funny how Colton and I both had the same dream of being famous and feel validation from masses of people while at the same time feeling trapped by our own physical appearance: I’ve always felt ugly while he’s always been conscious of his beauty. In both cases, our bodies felt like a curse… how ironic
Anyway, definitely recommend this book.

I never knew his story before and hearing him read the audiobook really brought his pain to life. I found a few moments I had to pause while driving because of the tears in my eyes. We truly never know what celebrities deal with in their personal lives.

I think his comment on wishing for attention but receiving it and it not being what he wanted was interested cause he comments on the attention he received always being for a non true version of himself and maybe his wish really was for someone to see him for him and give that part of himself love
