I was engaged the entire time and read this so quickly. Intriguing, tense, funny, heartfelt. Overall, a fun reading experience.

this is literally veronica mars, but worse. everything felt rushed and the relationships were so random. there was no development in the romance so it just felt extremely forced. the plot was really good and i liked the twist but the lack of character development was a real turn off for me. plus, the mc is just a jerk with no redeemable qualities - in my opinion.

Honestly, I'd give this book like a 3.75/5 stars. While I enjoyed how messy each of the characters were, including the narrator herself, the whole high-class aspect of it all was kinda thrown in my face at times, which was a reminder of just how much "money talks" today. However, I love Woon as an author and her book If You, Then Me was one that I deeply enjoyed and treasured in high school. I loved how the plot twist was set up, but I felt as though the resolution after that wasn't as intense as I was expecting. Overall, though, I enjoyed reading this book!

I wouldn't say this is a thriller necessarily but it was an extremely interesting read with an amazing plot twist.
