I was really close to putting this book down. But then I got into it and I’m glad I didn’t. But now I’m mad because it

left me on a cliff hanger

. 
I didn’t like how Ava kept running away and Jesse was hard to love at first. 

I really want to know about the birth control and why it keeps disappearing?

It was too cheesy, not enough substance, and very unrealistic things in the sex scenes. Not to mention some harmful stereotypes are continued (I.e. not understanding the word no. Sexual harassment/rape with no trigger warnings)

Aye. It's disappointing this series received as much praise as it did (thanks Oprah 🙄). This isn't romance.   If folks thought 50 shades was bad -- this is criminal.
