This is the kind of YA book that definitely reads as if it would make a much better CW series. Like every chapter feels exactly like an episode of Riverdale. It's fun, but at first all of the twists kind of make sense and you think you know the destination but then in the last two episodes the plot changes pretty dramatically
Spoiler and what you thought was a murder mystery is in fact, much like Riverdale, actually just about a cult.

I had fun reading this because I wanted to see what happened and I think I would have given this four or five stars when I was like 13 or 14.  I think this would have been something I might have liked. In terms of a debut, I think this was pretty decent and I'm curious to see what Lily Sparks does in the future, especially if she writes longer stories because I felt like this book would have been a lot better and more fleshed out if it was like 4-500 pages.
Spoiler For instance it felt kind of rushed for them to just info dump all of that about the camp at the end when it seemed like it could have been worked into the plot more from the beginning because by the time I got to it I didn't really care. I considered just skipping to the end because I really didn't care about them storming the compound, but I wanted to know who killed Rose so I read to find that answer lol.

Anyway, if you're looking for a book that has all the mystery of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, the twists and turns of Riverdale, and the intrigue of the trailer for Suicide Squad, this book is probably for you.

overall, the start and the middle where like a jolly rancher, sweet but kind of sour, aka it was depressing. but, then the ending was like a heresy kiss aka super sweet.

A book about about a camp where a bunch of teens get taught how to get away with murder? Not something I knew I needed until now.

Overall, I really enjoyed Teen Killers Club. The characters are all very interesting and very flawed, none of them coming off as perfect like I feel like a lot of ya characters do. The descriptions are great like the image of the camp was painted wonderfully and I now know a bunch of things about getting a way with murder that I didn't know before.

The world in general is very interesting with people being put into Classes. The teen killers club is made up of Class A which means they are the worst and most of them have a count for how many people they've killed. I also liked how the story unfolded for the teen killers club and when the truth came out about what they were truly up to.

Like any book, there were a few things I didn't like and with this one, it was the romance for me. It felt very juvenile. I know that they are teens but I do believe the age range for them was like 17 to 18 and the way the " relationships " were going felt more 14 to 15 to me. The love triangle also felt unnecessary.

Despite not liking the romantic aspects all that much, there was a quote that I did enjoy from it " I see the angel and I want to set her free " and if there were a sequel, I would be interested in seeing what happens with this couple.
