Thanks to the publisher for providing me with a finished copy of this title for review purposes - all opinions are my own.

I field-tested this book with my 5-year-old daughter at bedtime and she loved it! This is a book of reimagined Mother Goose nursery rhymes each with a "motor" theme - we had so much fun remembering the classic words to the rhymes while we were enjoying the new poems by Rebecca Colby. The illustrations of trucks, boats, trains, planes, diggers, etc are vibrant and will surely appeal to the majority of young readers.

As a librarian, I plan to use this book in conjunction with my favorite Mother Goose collection in my kindergarten classes . Many teachers are telling me that their young students are not familiar with the classic Mother Goose rhymes, which is unfortunate as these are referenced in a wide range of other areas including other literature and math story problems, etc. This new collection will be a great way to freshen up my lessons about classic Mother Goose.

A clever re-imagining of some well-known nursery rhymes so they describe vehicle-related adventures. Some odd word choices that don’t quite rhyme but otherwise a good read. The illustrations are great too and my 3 year old has built upon some them to make up background details about the vehicles that he liked the most (particularly Hey, Digger, Digger; Beep, Beep, Black Jeep; and Twinkle, Twinkle, UFO).

This book is so cute! It takes nursery rhymes and familiar songs and adds in vehicles. A must read for all those vehicle lovers out there.

Great singing book for storytime! One could pick and choose songs to sing depending on other book themes, and create fun flannels to go with the rhymes too; a springboard of storytime inspiration.
