This is one of those times when I would like to be able to award half stars. This book was good for what it was, but to give it four stars--like Sarah's Key or The Solace of Leaving Early--seems crazy, because it isn't in the same class.
But if you're looking for an entertaining story about a cop wit a complicated life, a heist, some sympathetic characters, etc., this is a good choice. I also tink that this book would make an excellent movie.

I loved this. It was a good story with nice character development - lots of action. I didn't see it all coming. I look forward to reading something else written by this author

Good story, a bit predictable, but fun trying to figure out the double crosses. Not a major brain investment, but a great way to pass the time.

Another quick read, but just as exciting and full of action and mystery as the previous book. Kept me turning pages and was a good read.

Book 3 about Walt Fleming. There is a quick attempt to steal wine bottles destined for auction. They are supposed to have been bottles owned by John Adams given to him by Thomas Jefferson. Because of the high profile Walt begins to investigate and keep guard over the bottles. A quick read and easy mystery. There seems to be more going on than just a robbery attempt. Will Walt be able to figure everything out in time?

I really liked this one, probably the best of the first three of this series. Good mystery, good characters. Looking forward to picking up number 4...
