This story took a turn I was not expecting.  I thought this was very well done.  It involves friendship, bullying, infidelity, a wedding, a murder, and lots of questions throughout the book.  Very interesting, the plot was going in a somewhat similar direction as the last book I just finished. . . destination wedding, duties as the bride's attendant, trouble among the family.   I related to these characters and I really enjoyed this book. 4.5 stars.

This book surprised me; it wasn’t what I expected. For about the first half, I couldn’t figure out what it was about, but then the mystery starts at part 2. From there I was hooked. The plot be twisting!! It’s a beach read — but a great one!

 So this book went in a totally different direction than j thought it would... It definitely wasn’t what I expected after reading the description, but I enjoyed it. Daphne was a decent character, but like lots of books, I would have enjoyed spending more time with other characters besides her. I also think the book just kind of ended without really tying up all the loose ends? I wish we had gotten more of an extended ending where we could have found out more about what happened and how things wound up for the other characters.
