I do want to start by saying this book isn’t a waste of time. I’m curious about what’ll happen next and plan to keep reading. That said…

My main issue with this book is that I feel like I didn’t get to know any of the characters. I feel like most of the descriptions were used to explain what everyone was doing, not how they were feeling or how it impacted the world around them.

I enjoy a book where you can take a line of dialogue out of context and think, “Oh, that’s definitely X who’d say that.”

There’s just LIFE missing from the story. I can’t explain it better. I was never transported to their world - I just watched things play out, act by act.

SO SO SO MUCH FUCKING POTENTIAL IM ACTUALLY SO UPSET. It was so good in the first 20% AND AFTER THAT i WAS JUST BORED OUT OF MY MIND. I didn't mean caps and I'm not fixing it.
