I am an Indigo Employee, and I received an advanced reading copy of this book from Indigo Books & Music, in exchange for my honest feedback.

Fast-paced and thrilling, I could not put this book down. It reads like a murder mystery in space, and the science and world building were so cool - the plot was so interesting, and the book was just so fun. Although I did see some of the major plot twists coming, the book was interesting enough that you wanna keep reading, and keep second guessing yourself. Towards the end, some of the science got a little weird and campy, but the book was pretty charming and enjoyable, so I really didn't mind. It's the kind of book you can see as a movie or tv show. It's cool because the book felt genre-bending, some people view it more as a mystery with a sci-fi twist, others view it more as a sci-fi thriller. Regardless of how people see it, I think everyone who reads it will have some fun with it!

Wow. once I got into the book i was completely hooked. This is such a good book about cloning, full of ethical dilemmas and some of my personal favorite questions - problems with no clear solution. I don't know if I agree with all of lafferty's answers, but I love that she has the guts to ask them. a cast of well developed characters with complex motivators, which I loved. this is the kind of thoughtful, well developed clone fiction I'm looking for. more, please.

All the murder got to be a bit much, but I will try to finish it later.

Clue, but with clones and also in space. Super interesting ideas about what might be possible with cloning. Awesome characters! I can't even choose a favorite.

Great premise but like others, I found the execution could have been better. Clunky at times, but the story was enough to get me to the end, so averaging to 3 stars.
