Loved luc. Didn't care for the Henry/ Addie romance. Found myslef skimming a bit towards the end. Repetitive. Wanted more.

UNCLE.
I give. I'm out. I made it almost halfway! I made it through the banal sex scenes that seem to have been so off-putting and/or offensive to others. I endured list after list after list, all in sets of three, of all the banal places, people, and things this incredibly shallow, self-indulgent, irresponsible main character made. I managed to avoid an extended fantasy of beating in the beautiful face with the seven freckles like a constellation. On behalf of people with actual real freckles everywhere, just the seven? Like a constellation? Over and over? Yeah, that's not how it works.
For a much more detailed review of why this novel sucks and you shouldn't waste your time, please see The Review by Marta the Book Slayer. She sums it up nicely: monotony, pretention and shallowness.
I'm going to go read some other reviews now to see if I can figure out what Henry's deal is, other than being ADD and bisexual. I take it he made a same-but-opposite bargain as Addie, but hasn't yet transcended his deal with the devil across continents and started a walking regimen. Oy.
