Well, I finished Book 1 at 11:30 at night and then promptly started this one because I was on a roll and I NEEDED to know what happened next. Romance books aren't often good enough to get that response from me, but Piper James knows how to write stories and characters that you WANT to read more about.
Ivy and Nate have C.H.E.M.I.S.T.R.Y. and there's no other way to put that. I love a good enemies to lovers story, but the way that this one played out was just a little bit different. Going in they "hate" each other and they're faking it to get Nate out of a bad spot he put himself in, but the steamy glances and faked kisses catch them both off guard, and OHHHHH BABY!
I am anxiously awaiting Book 3 in this series. If it's anything like Books 1 and 2, I will read that one in a day too.

These two main characters know each other because she is his brother's best friend and comes over to the house a lot. They had some sort of chemistry but something happened and now they hate each other... Do they though?

Ivy is such a good best friend and I'm not surprised that Rafe didn't notice what was going on because the poor guy was doing laps around his feelings for Jessa at the time.

Nate screwed up a lot, so much so that he got in big trouble for it. Who saved his butt? Ivy. That woman has more balls than him

I had so much interest in these two characters from book one and boy their story did not disappoint. The author really grasped my attention with the enemies to lovers and fake romance aspect, but Nate and Ivy are what really truly gained my love for this book! Absolutely amazing and worth a reread on my part!

Piper James has a way of perfectly mixing humor and spice. This book made me laugh out loud and has the perfect amount of spice! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
