I think the plot was a little rushed
Spoiler and Nash not believing Tallulah for a second until the end was bs but i’m glad Tallulah got her happy ending
wish there was an epilogue or something but I absolutely adored the first half of the book.

For me this is the best book of the series, here is why. I connected with the main character Tallulah. Her struggles were my struggles. I didn’t want to be noticed in high school I just wanted to get through it. I wonder if a lot of people felt the same.

Everything she goes through before I can relate. After not so much but it was fun to listen to what she does about how she looks now. Mean girls gosh I am glad I never got myself noticed by them every school has em.
This book really showcases what small-town high schools are like. I really enjoyed Nash’s character and how he has his click but he also is his own person.

Tallulah’s mom is freaking fabulous, she is a character I wished got her HEA because she seems like the sort that deserves it.

The YouTuber character my god pure genius, if you have kids who watch them then you KNOW that is exactly how you see them.

I loved the narration, I am a fan of both and can’t wait for more.

First of all I hate Miscommunication tropes and mistrust based on e what you only have seen without confrontation with the other he was confident that he knew her well and on the first obstacle he turned on her he took her for granted he assumed that they are together without even telling her that he loved her the only thing that I liked about this book is tallulah's relationship with her mother that was the only good thing literally
And the fact that the school is full of pick me girls it just not giving me
This is the first book in the series and I know it's about it's about teenagers being dramatic kind of but I see the friendship I see the meaning of friendship I see the way they get each other and it's like all those books are even the love interests aren't that good I don't know how to feel about it but if it's it was only one book talking about a bunch of kids being best friends and having each other's back it would have been better

Very cliché with the fat girl that has no friend or social life getting bully, but getting skinny over the summer and now she's unrecognizable and so hot that every single male is attracted to her.

Check for TW tho

I’m a huge fan of this series, I’ve loved all of them so far: Until Friday Night, Under the Lights, and After the Game. This book starts with the next grade of football players, only Nash Lee is no longer going to get to be a football star. I can say that I had barely started this book when I already didn’t want to get out of my car to stop listening. It was actually Tallulah’s story that got me crying. So much in her that I saw in myself. Her walking to lose weight reminded me of the summer I walked at least 20 miles a week and lost weight. How I wish I could do that again as easily. The story actually reminded me a bit of one of my favorite books by Jay Crownover, strangely with the name Nash, the male character in that book had the same name as this guy, and kind of did the same thing to the girl in both books. But there were some extra things I didn’t see coming, like a YouTube star, and a death, and so much more. Plus there was an added storyline of the teacher that made a huge impact at the end, one that had tears streaming down my face. A great book, and I can’t wait, or hope at least, that there will be more with the other guys on the team in future books.
