I love these girls so much. They’re so cute!
Hana and Hina After School has to be one of my favorite yuri manga I’ve read, and one of my favorite manga in general. The characters are so lovable and interesting.
The mangaka has really made a masterpiece in the yuri genre!

So cute! I really like Hana and Hina (though I couldn't tell you which one is Hana and which is Hina), and I think their romance is so sweet.

I am reading so much yuri manga right now, though, that I'm getting the plots of them mixed up in my head a bit.

I think my favorite thing about this series is that while there is a lot of drama happening in the girls's heads and hearts, things in their lives are actually pretty great, and they don't constantly cause huge and unnecessary problems for themselves that give me anxiety! Hana is anxious and oblivious and stuck in her head a lot, and I can relate to that, but she's still a strong character that goes after what she wants and takes risks and tries new things. This is just really strong character building in a sort of silly premise and I love it.

Oh my, I've got feelings about that ending. Ugh, this volume is so much cuter than the first.

We're getting more backstory for Hina but it's all teases and flickers of information. We're also getting to see how Hina liking girls isn't something new for her, and she talks about her lack of interest in boys. The side characters, Hina's friends, are really sweet and seem like really good friends.

Hana is also starting to realize she has feelings other than friendship for Hina and it's super duper precious and innocent! Especially that last line: "But my pounding heart finally burst open. Deep in my chest I felt as if a flower had bloomed." That's so sweet and precious and I'm really excited to see how their relationship is going to continue developing.

Also, super cute thing: HINA MAKING AN EXCUSE TO HOLD HANA'S HAND!!
