Quote(s): "And maybe that means you’re making up for it by ensuring you have extra love in adulthood.” “Come for me, Lennon. Come on this cross. And then I’ll hang it back up, dripping with your arousal. It can be our little secret.”

The journey continues for Lennon, Silas, Damon and Jude and everything is building up both in relationships and the background of what happened before Lennon moved back home.

Lennon is still trying to find her place in the relationship and how to make everything work between all 4 of them. Lennon now lives with the guys and gets to meet another woman who has the same relationship set-up as she and the guys are trying to have. It's nice to see it made normal for Lennon as it helps to settle her about following her heart and taking what she wants from life. I really liked the development of each of the relationships and the way that they all support and love each other is really believable. I also appreciated that this book isn't just about the relationship side of things, (that they aren't just continually jumping each other) and that there is an actual storyline too.

Speaking of the storyline, readers get straight into the mysteries of the first book although you still end up with more questions than answers at the end. The idea of undercover work is intriguing and makes you feel for the four of them as they try to make it seem that there is trouble in paradise when that is actually really far from the truth. The fear that Lennon has for Jude, since she doesn't agree with the plan, is heart-stopping in some places, especially when he disappears for longer and longer. There isn't anything she wouldn't do for any of them anymore, including putting herself at risk.

I will be reading the next book as soon as I can and I have high expectations for it as I found this book better than the first. I would recommend this book to others (read the triggers first) and I will definitely be reading more by this author. However, this isn't a book that I would read again, at least not for a while anyway as I'll need time to forget all the revelations revealed so far.

This was such a good book! Loved the story and the cameos from the lads and briar from the ruthless royals series!

The second book of the Savage Hearts series, Savage Gods, starts out with a bang—literally. This one was 10 times hotter than the first I swear. The scene with the cross? The scene in the alter? Phew. S p i c y. AND THE DINNER SCENE. I almost forgot about that one. I’m seriously in love with everything about this series.

I recommend this series 100 percent, and I can’t wait for the next book!

DNF, the plot is sooo boring. It feels like a fanfiction where it was someones excuse to just write porn, but it's so much smut that I feel like the author is absolutely cramming in the plot between all the sex and fun scenes. These books are so incredibly short and I'm not even going to spend another minute trying to just get through them, that's how bad it is.
