Thorough, unabashed slice of life with lots of working out family/relationship issues. A lot of stories like this end up having something entirely implausible happen to advance the plot, and thankfully this does book avoids that. There's no right/wrong in a lot of the decisions, which automatically engages you as the reader more since you have to imagine what you would do.

A moving glimpse into lives very different from my own. I’m not sure how much I enjoy literary fiction, and while this was a worthwhile read, I’m not sure how often I’d recommend it to people.
