The only think I didn’t like was the end.

3.5 stars.

I liked this book. Like I finished it in one sitting, and it kept me interested enough.

Also, unpopular opinion, I kind of like how the book ended. I didn’t like how Alfie forgave Nate so fast in the end though…

Nate was intense and romantic I loved that about him, he's the type of guy you wanna bring home to your parents except maybe for the killing part anyway,
I laughed at all of alfie's jokes
He's got the same humor as me.
Their banter is everything just top notch chemistry.
Everyone else can fuck themselves it's them against the world now.

Dude the sexual tension during the blackout scene

“I hate you,” Alfie whispered.
Nate shook his head. “No, you don’t.”

4 This Really Should've Been Longer Stars✨

Because yes, This book is what? 160 or so pages of so much potential to be something so much Bigger and Greater.

Regardless, we got what we did and I'm left with the feeling of a literal Clown Face

This book caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting those characters. They played with me and I loved every second of it. The story was intriguing and funny in some morbid way. The end was not that great at least for me. I was waiting something else. But in general I enjoyed reading it.

This novel was recommended to me after I asked for MM Prison themed stories. It was an absolutely delicious read. My first introduction to Louise Collins and I am not disappointed.
