I love a second-chance romance and this one pulled it off really well.

Except. There's a part that involves reading research notes in a country where the person doesn't speak the language. How does that work?

Quite a bit of the conspiracy/suspense plot didn’t make a lot of sense to me, as I hadn’t read any of the previous series. This probably would have been a DNF if I hadn’t enjoyed the scenes between Reid and Cara and Reid’s bro-pal Parker. Those were a lot of fun. Not to mention the scenes between Reid and Cara.

And the guy narrating the audiobook...ooooohhhhh myyyyyyyyyyy....I might have to use one of Audible credits just so I can hear his voice whenever I want!

Reid and Cara are great together. The chemistry is off the charts. I didn't realize this was the 4th book in the series, so now I'll have to go back and read from the beginning. The banter between all the characters is great and helps keep the story moving even during the more tense/emotional scenes.
Good Book.

A nice, fast-paced mystery. It was suspenseful, but played out more like a whodunit. Reid and Cara were nice characters. They didn't trip up their relationship with truly stupid shit. And, didn't hold on to for ridiculous reasons. Parker was amusing. I look forward to seeing more of him. Tasha was, again, badass.
