I really like this series, but I feel like the recent issues have gotten sloppier in terms of writing. I'm also not a fan of the change in character design. Everyone looks more like a cartoon and there was a point where I wondered if I was reading a dream sequence because of how everyone looked.

Not one of the best issues of Giant Days, but it gives you what you expect from it. Rushing forward to the latest issue.

It’s moving day! Okay, it’s not like this is the first time we’ve seen the cast move in to their new places for the year. But it is the first time they’ll all be living separately, at least since they’ve met. It’s a bitter sweet moment, to be sure.
Naturally everyone has their own set of issues with the new living arrangements. Daisy had to scramble last minute to find a place, and while she got a great deal it requires a lot of work on her hand. She’s handling like a champ though, but let’s be honest here, who’s surprised by that?
Esther is having her drama field used against her, but surely that isn’t the first time this has happened to her? I mean back in the first volume Suzie did the same thing. Granted it wasn’t for the same reasons and didn’t have the same level of maliciousness about it.
Meanwhile Suzie is having issues with her big move with McGraw. While I’m sure we all saw that coming it was a little bit disappointing. I felt for her, sure, but I also felt like she was being a little bit harsh. Thankfully she’s got some wonderful friends to help her come around on even the toughest of issues.

SpoilerIs it just me or is the art new? I was on page 5 and I had no idea that the person Daisy was talking to was Sue (?!). Like, what the heck? Good thing she said her name otherwise I would be like: did Daisy find a new girlfriend? xD

AND OMG SUSAN AND MCGRAW, AWWWWWWWW ♥♥♥♥♥♥

A filler issue + a different illustrator = I'm a bit disappointed. I still love Susan and McGraw's relationship though!
