Uhm, yeah, that happened. It was a super easy breezy book to read, and while there was an indication of plot, I really hated how it was executed. I mean, wtf? You set up a whole unlikely premise and make it likely, you go through with the shebang, why can’t you tie it up? It was such a uselessly limp ending, that I can’t even with it.

Good Lord! What a ride!
This was a spicy read with a few differing kink representation
The ending was sweet and the climax of the story left me with a bit of curiosity not knowing how it would end, but I wasn’t disappointed
• Great storyline
• Enjoyed the characters and especially his development
• Decent spice
• Mistaken identity was played so well

Overall pretty great read!

While the spice wasn’t off the charts like I was hoping…many of the scenes were pretty glossed over and some of the wording was less than hot and pretty tame given that he was looking for a slave/master dynamic…I actually really liked the premise, which is what pushed it to a 3.5 for me. Joseph is a wealthy man who hires very well paid sex workers for 39 days of complete submissive, immersive role play. He “kidnaps” them at a time of his choosing and they have no idea when and where it will be. But he accidentally mistakes Liana for the woman he’s supposed to pick up. But luckily for him, she’s always had dreams of being completely submissive. I liked the mistaken identity part.

Violent Delights is the first book in the Violent #1 series and is the first book that I have read by this author.

Liana has a job she loved until her boss the professor dies and now she has lost her job. Her boyfriend is a douche and cheats on her. I would say that is a terrible week. Now she is kidnapped to make matters worse. Her captor Joseph has an even worse day. The day he finds out she isn’t the one that was supposed to be kidnapped.

I thought Violent Delights was an interesting book to read. At least it kept my interest.

I got Violent Delights from Kindle Unlimited. I will be reading Violent Cravings soon.

Premise of mistaken identity was cool. Too much “For the next week we did ___ three times a day.” Once they determine the truth, he’s laughable in his blame game and she’s laughable in her way-too-submissiveness.

Joseph and Liana couldn't be more different. He's a weathly man, living by himself in a massive house, without any cares. She's a struggling woman, fresh out of a relationship, having lost her mentor and boss, and struggling to know her place.

Joseph hires women to fill his time. He keeps them for 39 days exactly, and during that time they obey his every order, desire and whim. They are compensated handsomely for their time, to the point of never having to work again.

Until he takes the wrong girl.

Liana is thrown headfirst in to Joseph's world, confused and angry, but it doesn't last. She realises that it's the world of her dreams, and she doesn't want to give it up.

A quick, easy read with an interesting storyline. Very generic characters, and a predictable ending. A very average read, but enjoyable all the same.

What started out as a kid napping of the wrong woman ends in a relationship that was needed by both characters. Joseph and Linana come together to fill a void in his life and complete a desire she has always dreamed of. The sparks fly quickly and it was an enjoyable read.
