Words cannot describe what this poetry collection did to me. I've just finished reading the most beautiful poems ever, the most beautiful and meaningful, so beautiful that they made me cry, yes, I was moved and sort of got out of the numbness that was starting to drag me in. I loved it, absolutely loved it and related to it in a way that I can’t even articulate. Its like someone wrote this book for me and all these feelings and thoughts I’ve been having/have had have been put into words .

I absolutely loved everything in this book, one of my all time favorite poetry books! If you havent read it yet, please do! You will not be disappointed. I can't express how much I love poetry and how much I love this work specifically. This contains so much life-changing and educational and heart-wrenching and heartwarming information that is formatted in such a way that allows the reader to feel connected to everything being said. Definitely a must read, even if poetry isn't necessarily something you're interested in.

It's all about love. Wanting love, having love, losing love. Wishing for love from afar, holding love tightly from up close, and all of the kinds in between. This book was done by sections, and each was lovelier than the last.

Sections include: If you are dreaming of someone, if you are in love, if you are heartbroken, if you are lonely, if you are sad, if you are missing someone, if you need encouragement, if you are soul-searching, if you need a reason to stay (suicide prevention), and these are for you. Some of them are long streams of consciousness, and others are a thought. Some of the poems rhyme, while others are just lovely paragraphs that tells a story.

Pillow Thoughts is a collection of poetry and prose about heartbreak, love and raw emotion. It is poignant, moving and touched me. It made me cry, it made me think, it made me feel better and is definitely helping me live my life and come to process my thoughts and feelings.

I really enjoyed this poetry book. There are poems for all different kinds of situations like if you’re sad or if you’re in love and the poems are so lovely. I may have even read a few to my girlfriend because they made me think of her

The reason I rated this book so highly is because of a personal experience I had with it and an ex. This book will always remind me of her for that reason and means a lot to me for that reason, but it’s not the best. I love sapphic representation and overall enjoyed this book.
