I loved this book.  It was some dark subject matter but the romance was made all the mire poignant because of it.  It was also tastefully done.

Every character made sense, was fully flushed out, and played an important role in the story.

The romance was so sweet.  I felt like was falling in love right there with them.

I could not put this book down and dove straight for book two.

This book gripped me from the beginning. Romance isn't my preferred genre but I am rooting for the couple in this book. The character development was impressive as trust was built between the two main characters despite their complicated back story. My only criticism would be that at times it became a bit overly cringy which distracted from the main storyline.

Loved this book! So good! I wept, I laughed, I love all of them! Not YA though in my opinion.

I’d been looking forward to reading this for a long time. Unfortunately, a lot of it felt unnecessarily long. I don’t see the appeal with Johny. I prefer Joey and Gibsie.
