Oh no. To be devestatingly beautiful and not know it. The trials and tribulations.
Other than that, it was a solid no-smut romance.
Janie is likeable as long as you can get over the fact that she is a nitwit. Think: absent-minded professor, or dumbest smart person ever.
Quinn is electric. But very alpha male, frequently to the point of being annoying.
There's a surprise bit of plot in the last handful of chapters after 20 chapters of relationship building, but I guess it adds drama and can help give the series a plotline to continue.
Will be reading the next one!

This was a super cute and clever romance, lived up to its “smart” proclamation. A fun read!

I loved the plot of this book. There were a lot of things going on and Janie and Quinn are adorable. Janie's 'trivial facts' were awkwardly cute, and I loved how quirky she was. Quinn was mysterious for a while, but he was also very alpha with a hidden side of boyish charm.
The only thing I had a hard time with, was how many times I had to use the dictionary. I understand that Janie's vocabulary is massive, but I feel like I lost some sense of the book while I had my nose in the dictionary trying to understand something that was said or thought.
Overall I would definitely recommend this book to a fellow reader, especially if they love a hot alpha in a business suit!

It took a while to get into this book because it starts off very introspective, but worth the wait.

This was a really cute, funny book! I liked Janie a lot (although she was very cooky at times). And I really liked Quinn too! The book was light hearted and the story simple. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!
This was a fun read, I think it loses a star because of some of the self depreciation (not that I can fully say I don’t do it). But it was a good, happy book. And there’s definitely a part towards the ending that made me laugh out loud like a loon. Especially as a knitter with a knack for freaking out over expensive yarn.
I like the premise okay but I feel like the characters are very one dimensional. Overall a fun read, but lacking in a couple areas that I feel like Penny Reid definitely improves on.
listened to this on audible. It's cute and predictable, but I knew that going in.
