Interesting premise, but the pacing was wrong for me. By the time we start exploring the way the world would change in a "play world" we're already 3/4 into of the book, and there is no statisfactory resolution.

I find it hard to form an opinion on this book, I liked it definitely, but I don't know, it leaves you with a lot to think but thoughts I don't know how to put into words. I liked the philosophical 'what if' approach and foundation of the book. Furthermore, stripping away the stereotype of innocence and love around children is something I thoroughly enjoyed. I found the ending hard to understand however, and I would've preferred it if it had talked about the great migration more, or not mentioned it at all, I understand the way it was talked about was a plot device, and an open end to make the reader think, however I just didn't like it. All in all, solid book.
