A twisting and satisfying thriller. Andy might just be my favorite Slaughter character yet— painfully real and disarmingly funny. I already know the Netflix adaptation will let me down, but I’m gonna give it a shot anyways.

Absolutely fantastic — loved the audiobook, the narration was fantastic. It pulled me in right from the beginning, the elaborate backstory was fascinating and it was fun to try and fit in the pieces with each side comment or hint. The switches between the two timelines was easy to follow, and the characters were dynamic. Highly recommend

Wow!  This book was a wild ride from start to finish.  I won't get into too many details, but the story kept me glued to the edge of my seat the entire time.  I accidentally read spoilers from another review, but I was so engrossed in how the pieces of the spoilers would fit together with the rest of the story.

First Karin Slaughter read! I was also delighted to discover this was mad into a show on Netflix. I’ll def be reading more of her books. Im interested to see where the second book in this series goes. 

This book is pretty violent and descriptive of gory scenes, so if you’re sensitive to topics I don’t suggest reading.
