This beautiful book is short on words, and full of active gouache illustrations. Two children share a month by month year of friendship fun-- from playing in the snow, to dancing in the rain, and playing on the beach. In wonderful picture book format, the pictures tell more of the story than the simple, easy to read text. Young children, ages 3-7, will enjoy listening to this book as a read aloud or reading it independently. Due to the detailed nature of the pictures, this book will work best as an individual lap sit read or sharing with a small group. Take time to enjoy the playful artwork as you read.
