Please see my friend Styles' review for why I rated this book with 2 stars. She conveys my thoughts of The Darkest Passion rather well, so there's no sense in repeating it.

That said, will I continue reading this series? Yes.

Why? Because not liking one book doesn't take merit away from the series as a whole. For example, I didn't like Vishous' book in the BDB series, or the last Vampire Academy book, but I still very much love both series in general.

Best one yet! I loved Olivia;). She wasn't whiny or indecisive. She took what she wanted without excuses. Can't wait to read the next one

I didn't completely love it, but I didn't hate it either. The story was nice, but the whole thing with Legion just bothered me. I don't understand Aeron's love for her, it doesn't make sense to me.
But it was good. Not great, but good.

This was a great addition to the series, but I feel like I enjoyed some of the other tales better. Still, it was nice to see Aeron find happiness and I look forward to seeing what is next for the Lords of the Underworld...next up is Gideon, keeper of Lies. Seriously, I just want to get to Paris's story, and I really can't wait for Torin's story to come out.

Not my favorite in the series, but the writing was, of course, very good.

This may be my favourite of the series so far. Which is saying a lot because I really didn't like Aeron in the previous books and I really really liked the first book. ;)

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Olivia but she was amazing and so brave! I loved her and Aeron!

Legion... I just don’t get Aeron’s loyalty to her and the whole plot with her creeped me out. The story lost a star as I sped through scenes with her.
